Ingredients:
- Sweet Fields Cinnamon Rolls
- 4 lbs strawberries
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- ½ cup water
- Whipped cream
Recipe:
- Make compote: In a saucepan add 2 lbs strawberries diced, sugar, water/cornstarch mix, lemon juice. Bring to a boil and cook until it thickens, approx 5 min. Turn off heat and let cool.
- Warm cinnamon rolls then set aside.
- Slice in half 2 lbs strawberries.
- Slice cinnamon rolls in half and line bottom of dish.
- Add compote on top, then whipped cream and then sliced strawberries. Repeat and you’re done!
- *The top layer should be fresh sliced strawberries.
